We have a thing that we did~!

+ Started on Screencast-O-Matic prep (for the powerpoints)


This might be a challenge for me, though. I can't stand the thought of people listening in as I try to narrate a PowerPoint   :S  (And narrating a Powerpoint still makes my skin crawl, even if no one is listening but me)

PS: Midterms are next week, so perhaps this blog won't see an update until much later.

What was accomplished:

+ Absolutely nothing.

+ To be fair, we didn't have anything to do, either.

+ Siiiigh.

+ I didn't want to bother Mr. Martin. He's looked really busy.

The title of this post is extremely relevant, just so you know.

PS: Because I'm always tired when I get to 6th and 7th period, I don't seem happy or energetic. But those classes are actually my favorites, and, Mr. Martin, you are my favorite teacher! Sorry if it doesn't seem that way. My mind ceases to function well later in the school day.

+ We finished the power point "Solar Energy to Electricity

+ Karen is helping the AutoCAD students improve

We still need to get the "Efficiency of Solar Cells" power point done.

End of First Week of Quarter \(''O'')/

Accomplished:

+ Karen believes that she is almost done with the Wiring diagram (but needs Mr. Martin's opinion so far)

+ The students are improving at Autocad! They've gotten along on the lessons  :D

+ And my hands are sanitized

And so it Begins

The second quarter has started! Here's what we need done:

+ Finish the AUTOCAD Solar Car Wiring thing

+ Continue teaching AUTOCAD to the students

+ Sanitize hands (Especially important, considering the metal I've been touching lately)

The Wiring is a bit tricky to puzzle out. Somehow, I'll manage.

New Goal Happened During the Week!

The goal that was added:

+ Karen must complete the AUTOCAD Electric/Components Diagram :)

The goals that are in progress:

+ Continue teaching Autocad to my students :)

Just Teaching

The goals of this week are just to continue teaching and learning the basics of AutoCAD.

Teacherly Duties *7*

The Wonderful Research Team is not all about researching. It's also about getting anything that needs to be done, done. So... the blog post writer, Karen, has actually gotten a job to complete \(O7 O)/

Now I have something to do! At the start of the week we had no goal, or well, the goal was to GET a goal... You know what I mean. Therefore, goal accomplished! Karen is now a teacher of AutoCad for 3 students :)

Nuthin' to Doooo

The title is probably a song title. It sure sounds like one, at least.

Things to do:

+ Nothing.

Right now we are without any pending task. We'll see what becomes available to us during the rest of the week.

Long Story Super Short (Or not- I tend to talk a lot)

Accomplished this week:

+EVERYTHING. You read this right. EVERYTHING.

Cynthia and I worked like mad to finish our goal from Monday, and we did. We even got to finish section 7, which was the last of our pages and where Richard's pages started. He finished four pages, and we got impatient and finished the rest... OOOOPS :>

So now we are totally done, and hoping that there will be a new assignment for us by Monday of next week.

Instead of setting a certain number of power-point slides as the goal, I'll try making the goal what Section we're going to finish.

Chugging Along like a Caterpillar

Things have been getting done, slowly, since both Cynthia and I have our fair share of things to keep track of. 

Progress Made This Week:

• I've almost finished my amount of pages (about 1 left to do)
• Cynthia is working on her own pages while making headway on the PowerPoint
• I have no idea how Richard is doing
• And the blog updates are actually happening!

Here, Have a Noob Post

We have to make a blog post on the first and last day of the week, apparently. I've never run a blog, so I'm basically playing it by ear...

But that's fine. I'll do whatever needs to get done. Speaking of which, the Research Team has certain goals to get accomplished: 

1. Finish combing through the Solar Car Challenge Rules

2. Create a power-point presentation on the rules

3. And then to await further instructions

So far, we are all working diligently on number 1, except for maybe Richard, because he was watching videos instead of responding to an email I sent him with a question. He still hasn't replied. 

I estimate that I'll be finished with my amount of pages (11-20) by Thursday. I think Cynthia might need more time, though. I'll help her finish when I finish mine. I don't know if Richard is almost done, though.
